BACOLOD City – Two loan officers were robbed in Purok Carawinan, Barangay Magballo, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
Deo Nathan Teodoro Antonio of Barangay Camansi, Kabankalan City and Ceazar Ian Majarocon of Barangay Galicia, Ilog town lost P58,778 cash, said Superintendent Jonel Guadalupe, Kabankalan police head.
Antonio and Majarocon worked for Rafi Micro Finance, Inc., a lending company in Kabankalan.
They were on their way to their office on board a Honda XRM 125 motorcycle when two robbers on board a Kawasaki Bajaj motorcycle held them up at around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The suspects poked them with an unidentified firearm and demanded that they give them their collection, and then fled, the victims told the police.
Investigators have yet to identify the suspects as of this writing./PN
