MANILA – The Department of Justice ordered the Bureau of Immigration to put on lookout bulletin nine suspects – one of them Daraga, Albay mayor Carlwyn Baldo – over the assassination of AKO Bicol Party-list representative Rodel Batocabe.
The others listed in the bulletin were Christopher Cabrera Naval, Danilo Muella, Henry Yuson, Emmanuel Rosello, Jaywin Babor, Emmanuel Judavar, Gilbert Concepcion, and Agaton Concepcion.
From the nine, Naval, Rosello, Yuson, Babor, Muella, and Judavar were already in police custody, while Baldo was still at large but remains inside the country.
The Concepcions, on the other hand, were not named by the Philippine National Police as suspects in the Dec. 22 murder.
The DOJ said that while the nine were not prohibited from leaving the country, their possible flight will be monitored by the government.
Baldo was tagged as the mastermind in the slay of Batocabe and his police escort Senior Police Officer 1 Orlando Diaz during a gift-giving activity in Daraga last month.
Batocabe was supposed to challenge Baldo for the mayoral post in Daraga in the 2019 midterm elections./PN
