Loose firearms surrendered

BACOLOD City – Two loose firearms were surrendered to police officers in Murcia and E.B. Magalona towns in Negros Occidental.

A 70-year-old man, who the police did not identify, turned over a 12-gauge shotgun to the Murcia police station on Friday.

The shotgun’s license was issued on May 21, 2012 and had expired on February 7, 2016.

In E.B. Magalona, a 54-year-old man, who was also not named, brought to the police station a homemade .38-caliber firearm on May 30./PN
