ILOILO City – A drug pushing suspect and his lover were arrested in Monday’s drug sting operation in Barangay Santo Niño, Arevalo district.
Residents Jude Arce and Michelle Balbuena were taken to the Arevalo police station.
Five sachets of alleged shabu worth P204,000 were recovered, police said.
Jappy Dieta, the lovers’ suspected source of the prohibited substance, was initially able to escape but later arrested.
The three would be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
