FORMER “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” actress Lovi Poe is set to star in an international indie film, “Bad Man.”
In her Instagram post, Lovi revealed that she will be part of the film as she shared some snaps from her stay in Alabama, USA.
“So happy to finally announce being part of BAD MAN. Can’t wait to share more about this amazing film with an even more amazing cast,” she wrote in the caption.
She added, “Yes, this was the reason why I was in Alabama!”
Alongside Lovi’s post were photos and videos of herself on the set with actors Sean William Scott (from “American Pie”) and Chance Perdomo (from “After We Fell”).
Production on the action-comedy movie has already wrapped.
Inspired by a true story, the film will follow a state cop (played by Sean) who shows up in a small town with a big meth problem and immediately butts heads with a straitlaced local deputy (played by Johnny) as they attempt to solve a murder.
The film will be the directorial debut of film producer Michael Diliberti.
Lovi’s husband, Monty Blencowe, is also part of the film as the producer with Shaun Sanghani for SSS Entertainment, as well as Warner Davis and Todd Friedman for Hemlock Circle Productions and Brian Levy for Entertainment 360. (PUSH)
