LPG, Auto LPG prices up this May

CONSUMERS are paying more for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) products this month, as more firms implemented an upward adjustment after the rollback implemented in April.

Below is a list of the advisories released by firms, with the adjustments taking effect on Monday, May 1:

* Petron Corp.

LPG prices up by P0.85 per kilogram, and Auto LPG up by P0.48 per liter, effective 6 a.m.

* Phoenix LPG Philippines Inc.

Super LPG up by P0.95 per kilogram, and Auto LPG up by P0.48 per liter. effective 12:01 a.m.

* Solane

LPG up by P0.82 per kilogram, effective 6 a.m.

Firms implemented a big-time rollback last month, cutting down LPG prices by as much as P9.20 per kilogram.

Latest data available from the Department of Energy show that household LPG prices in Metro Manila ranged from P934.00 to P1,118.00 per 11-kilogram cylinder as of February 1. (GMA Integrated News)
