BACOLOD City – A liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) outlet on Lirazan Street, Barangay 5, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental had been robbed.
The robber not only took the outlet’s cash collection but also assaulted the cashier, 35-year-old Ana Liza Jabagat of Barangay Camugao, Kabankalan City, said Superintendent Rhea Santos, city police chief.
Still unidentified as of this writing, the robber pretended to be a Po’s Marketing customer, Jabagat told the police.
After asking how much an LPG tank costs around 10 a.m. on Monday, the robber trained a firearm of unknown caliber at her and forced her to hand over a sling bag containing their collection, she said.
Jabagat could not recall how much money the bag contained.
After which, the robber took her to the outlet’s stockroom and punched her on the chest, causing her to faint, she claimed.
Police investigation continues. The robber’s whereabouts remained unknown as of this writing. The establishment had no security camera./PN
