ILOILO City – Locally stranded individuals (LSIs) are allowed to enter Antique from Manila as long as they do not exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 (COVID-19).

This came after Gov. Rhodora Cadiao issued Executive Order (EO) No.110-A, Series of 2020 on Aug. 25.

“Antique province strongly supports the Balik Probinsya Bagong Pag-asa Program of the national government,” read part of Cadiao’s directive.
The EO took effect on Tuesday until Aug. 31, unless sooner revoked or extended.

Cadiao ordered the following conditions for LSIs to enter Antique:
* LSIs who do not have symptoms of COVID-19 are allowed to board the Manila to Antique flights of the Philippine Airlines (PAL) even without a negative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction test result, provided that they shall undergo mandatory quarantine in the municipality of their destination
* non-Antiqueños who do not exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 are allowed to take the Manila to Antique flights of PAL as long as they have already coordinated with the municipal or city health officer of their destination

Based on the Aug. 20 data of the Regional Inter-Agency Task Force, a total of 33,955 LSIs returned to Western Visayas.

Antique had the highest number of returnees with 8,970, followed by Negros Occidental with 6,620./PN

Capiz, on the other hand, had 5,811; Iloilo, 4,699; Aklan, 4,473; Bacolod City, 1,745; Iloilo City 1,130; and Guimaras, 507./PN
