Lucio Tan’s daughter appointed to PAL board as carrier pursues digital shift

MANILA – Philippine Airlines on Friday announced that owner Lucio Tan’s daughter, Vivienne Tan, has been appointed to their 15-man Board as the flag carrier pursues digital transformation.

“With this added responsibility, I shall continue to be focused in steering the company to profitability,” Vivienne said in a statement. 

She is the concurrent PAL executive vice president for Treasury, Treasurer and Chief Administrative Officer.

Gilbert Santa Maria, PAL president and chief operating officer, said they will embark on digital transformation initiatives to ensure the airline’s needs are met by the most ideal technology solutions. (ABS-CBN News)
