Lumina Homes to expand its portfolio in east of Bacolod City

THE City of Smiles will now have more reason to celebrate life as Lumina Homes – Vista Land & Lifescapes, Incorporated’s affordable housing arm and a national housing player – sets out to expand on the booming east side of Bacolod City, with an even bigger development.

In 2016, Lumina Homes was among the firsts to acknowledge Bacolod’s growing potential as it opened its very first house and lot development in the city, Lumina Bacolod, which is located in Barangay Vista Alegre. The 35-hectare development offered about 4,000 house and lots, and was officially sold out in just two years.

This year, Lumina Homes is looking to open a 45-hectare development in the east of Bacolod City. The project is a stone’s throw away from Bantug Lake Ranch, a recreational development featuring a scenic waterfront and fun activities like horseback riding, boating and fishing. The proposed site is also just 30 minutes away from other places of leisure, including Campuestuhan Highland Resort, Guerrero Farm & Nature Park, Melba’s Farm Guest House, and other major commercial and business centers.

The accessibility and convenience of the area is heightened by ongoing road widening projects, making it closer to the New Government Center and the New Silay-Bacolod International Airport.

Truly, the east side of Bacolod continues to be an area of economic growth and several developments, and like the rest of the city, the location is looking to be an investment hub due to influx of major real estate developers in the area, booming BPO industry, and flourishing commercial businesses.

Similar to its signature developments, Lumina Homes’ latest offering in Bacolod City will feature affordable residential units and amenities like shuttle service, mini gardens and playground covered multi-purpose hall, and provision for commercial area.

A decent livable space for individuals or start-up families, Lumina Homes’ soon-to-open community in Bacolod promises to be an ideal home within a growing city that still captures a countryside charm and overflowing optimism.(Lumina)
