ROXAS City – After stabbing a barangay kagawad, a man fled and was now under police hunt in Barangay Quevedo, Maayon, Capiz.
Police said the 40-year-old Agusto Castillon stabbed the 33-year-old Rene Jean Julian on the back.
Castillon and Julian are both residents of the village.
According to police investigation, Julian was trying to pacify the drunken Castillon who was creating disturbance in the village around 9 p.m. on Thursday.
But Castillon attacked Julian using an unidentified bladed weapon.
Julian was brought to the Bailan District Hospital in Pontevedra, Capiz where he was currently undergoing treatment.
Castillon, on the other hand, fled to an unknown direction, police said./PN
