ANTIQUE – A magnitude 4.2 earthquake jolted Valderrama town on Monday, August 26.
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the tectonic quake struck the town around 11:30 p.m. at a depth of three kilometers.
Intensity II was also felt in Tapaz, Capiz and Malinao, Aklan.
No damage was recorded in Valderrama or neighboring municipalities following the earthquake, according to the municipal government./PN
