MAKATO, Aklan – This town’s No. 4 most wanted person, a murder suspect, has been arrested in Barangay Castillo at around 5:30 a.m. on Feb. 24.
Harvie Masula was a 21-year-old laborer and resident of Barangay Agbalogo. He was one of the five persons charged for the death of Ariston Ortiz June 7, 2020.
Ortiz was shot to death.
Masula’s arrest warrant was issued on Dec. 21, 2020 by Presiding Judge Joebil Delmoro of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 2 in Kalibo, Aklan.
Masula was detained at the Makato police station. No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty.
The four other co-accused of Masula remained at large as this was being written. The Makato police station launched a manhunt./PN
