MANILA–Two of the country’s biggest mall operators said no one was hurt in their facilities when a strong quake struck Luzon Monday afternoon.
SM said emergency preparedness measures were executed during the incident and no one was hurt.
The country’s largest mall operator said it is conducting a thorough inspection of all its facilities in quake-affected areas.
“Most of the concerned malls are now back to normal operations,” SM said.
Ayala Malls also reported that no one was hurt in its facilities.
The company said it immediately assisted customers and mall personnel to proceed to designated evacuation areas.
For safety concerns, Ayala Malls said it is suspending mall operations until further notice. (ABS-CBN News)
