BACOLOD City – A man was stabbed to death by his coworker in Barangay San Jose, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental.
Construction worker Bryan Lañojan, 33, of Hacienda Carmen in Barangay Progreso, Binalbagan bore multiple stab wounds, a police report showed.
Tagged the suspect was Elmer Tabuga of Purok 2 in Barangay San Jose.
According to police investigators, the victim was last seen alive having a drinking session with Tabuga at their barracks on Tuesday.
It was around 7 a.m. on Wednesday when village watchmen discovered Lañojan’s lifeless body.
Officers of the Binalbagan municipal police station launched a manhunt operation against Tabuga, who fled after the incident. The have yet to determine the motive in the killing as well./PN
