BACOLOD City – A 25-year-old man was apprehended in a police hot pursuit operation.
Nilo Topez of Barangay Guiljungan, Cauayan, Negros Occidental was suspected of stealing crude oil from a cargo truck parked in Barangay Dancalan, Ilog, Negros Occidental at about 6:30 a.m. on May 30.
The police recovered from the suspect an improvised knife, motorcycle key, six plastic containers full of crude oil, and a motorcycle.
Topez was brought to the Ilog municipal police station.
