ILOILO City – Police in Igbaras, Iloilo arrested a resident for engaging in an illegal numbers game.
Caught at around 9:45 a.m. Monday Gentica Street, Barangay 3 Poblacion, Igbaras was Rodolfo Ebreo, a police report showed.
An anti-illegal gambling operation led to the arrest of Ebreo, who was engaged in “first two,” stated the police report.
Improvised cotejos (betting stubs), a ball pen and P220 worth of bet money were seized from the suspect.
Ebreo was facing a charge for violation of Republic Act 9287, the Act increasing penalties for illegal numbers games./PN
