BACOLOD City – Two newly identified drug suspects, including a minor, were arrested in Barangay 21, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
The 26-year-old Richard Batila and the 17-year-old boy were caught in a drug buy-bust operation around 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, a police report showed.
Officers from the Victorias City police station recovered from them three sachets of suspected shabu, two cellphones, a plastic canister, P520 cash believed to be proceeds from the illegal drug transactions, and P500 marked money.
The suspects were detained at the Victorias City police station lockup facility.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against them./PN
