ILOILO City – A 29-year-old rape suspect was arrested in Zone 1B, Barangay San Juan, Molo district on Friday.
Franky Malimit is a resident of Barangay Espinosa, Jordan, Guimaras.
Officers from the Molo police station and the Guimaras Police Provincial Office served him an arrest warrant around 10:30 a.m.
Presiding Judge Rosario Abigail Dris-Villanueva of the Regional Trial Court Branch 65 (Jordan) issued the warrant dated Feb. 16.
No bail bond was recommended for the suspect’s temporary liberty./PN
