ILOILO City – A man charged with violation of the Social Security Act of 2018 was arrested on Feb. 10 in Barangay Tagbac Sur, Oton, Iloilo.
Jagi Alinsasaguin, a 46-year-old resident of the barangay, was taken to the Oton police station at around 1:40 p.m.
The Social Security Act of 2018 (Republic Act 11199) is the law “rationalizing and expanding the powers and duties of the Social Security Commission to ensure the long-term viability of the Social Security System.”
The court recommended a bail bond of P72,000 for Alinsasaguin’s temporary liberty./PN
