BACOLOD City – For illegal cockfighting, a man was arrested in Barangay Vista Alegre.
The 42-year-old Rogelio Moralde was detained at the Police Station 7 lockup facility.
Moralde was among the seven persons caught in the act of engaging in an illegal cockfight in the village around 1:55 p.m. on Sunday, police said.
But Moralde was the only one arrested. The six others remain at large.
Recovered from the suspects’ possession were nine game fowls and cockfighting paraphernalia, the police added./PN
