BACOLOD, City – A 40-year-old man was detained in the police station of Cadiz City, Negros Occidental for stabbing his younger brother.
The suspect was identified as Ernie John Cortaneza, and the younger brother was Ercelo Cortaneza, both residents of Barangay Cabahug, of the said locality.
Police said the two were having a drinking session in their residence at 10 p.m. on April 25 when a heated argument ensued between them.
Suddenly, the suspect stabbed the victim using a broken bottle, police added.
Ercelo was taken to the local hospital for treatment./PN
