ILOILO City – A motorcycle crashed in Barangay California, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo around 10 p.m. on Monday, March 20.
The 21-year-old Jethro John Plantig, a resident of the town’s Barangay Ugasan, was rushed to the Gov. Niel D Tupas Sr. District Hospital but later succumbed to a head injury.
Police Staff Sergeant Gilbert Balayo of the Barotac Viejo police station said the victim, who was reportedly drunk, was heading towards Barangay Poblacion when the accident happened.
“He had no helmet kag nagtabog siya sa iya motorcycle. Nakabunggo iya ulo sa semento nga kabangdanan sang iya kamatayon,” Balayo added./PN
