BACOLOD City – A man drowned after he fell into a deep well in Barangay Delicioso, Ilog, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
Officers from the Ilog municipal police station identified the man as the 43-year-old Bonifacio Gonzales of Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
According to the police, Gonzales was digging a hole for the well when he fell around 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
Gonzales was rushed to the Lorenzo D. Zayco Memorial District Hospital in Kabankalan City where the attending physician pronounced him “dead on arrival.”/PN
