BACOLOD City – Harvesting mangoes turned fatal for a man in Barangay Mansalanao, La Castellana, Negros Occidental.
The 20-year-old Redyn Epogon of Barangay Biak-na-Bato, La Castellana got electrocuted around 12 p.m. on Monday, a police report showed.
Epogon’s 28-year-old sister Genelyn Epogon Eustaquio reported the incident to the police.
Epogon was climbing a mango tree when he touched the power line of the Negros Occidental Electric Cooperative, police said.
He died on the spot, they added.
The body was brought to a funeral parlor in La Castellana./PN
