ILOILO City – He was complained for creating alarm and scandal in Barangay Yabon, Janiuay, Iloilo.
Rodrigo Lastimoso was arrested at around 11 a.m. on Thursday, a police report showed.
Village chief Rodolfo Operio turned over Lastimoso to the police after they caught him carrying a firearm, the report added.
Recovered from Lastimoso’s possession was an improvised 12-gauge gun with a black holster.
The gun was now in the custody of the police.
Lastimoso was detained in the lockup facility of the Janiuay municipal police station.
He was charged for violating the election gun ban and Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
