Man faces ‘illegal fishing’ raps

BACOLOD City – A resident of Barangay Old Sagay, Sagay City, Negros Occidental was arrested.

The 58-year-old Rodrigo Negar was charged with illegal fishing, police said.

He was caught around 4:50 p.m. on July 26 at his residence.

Judge Jineffer Singco of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 61 (Bogo City, Cebu) ordered Negar’s arrest.

The suspect was taken to the Sagay City police station.

A P20,000 bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
