AKLAN – For stabbing his six-year-old son to death, a 30-year-old father in Barangay Bubog, Numancia, Aklan faces a parricide charge.
After attacking his son, the father also injured himself but not enough to end his life. Concerned neighbors restrained him and took him to a hospital.
The stabbing happened morning of May 18.
From what the town police have gathered so far, the man’s son was staying with his grandparents. On Wednesday morning, the father took him back home.
It was unclear where his wife was at the time of the stabbing. The man and his wife had a falling out, police said.
