BACOLOD City – A 43-year-old man faces charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
Jared Banay, a resident of Barangay Singcang-Airport in this city, was arrested after allegedly selling a gun to a police asset around 11:50 p.m. on Nov. 22 in Barangay Damgo, E.B. Magalona, Negros Occidental.
The operation was conducted by joint operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)-Negros Occidental and of the E.B. Magalona Municipal Police Station.
Police recovered a .45 pistol.
