BACOLOD City – Charged with “violence against women and children”, a man from Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental was arrested on April 8.
A warrant of arrest was issued against Juvy Trazo, 39, of Barangay Locotan for three counts of violation of Republic Act 9262, or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Children Act.
He was arrested by policemen around 10 a.m. and taken to the Kabankalan City police station.
Judge Rodney Magbanua of Regional Trial Court, Branch 61, recommended a bail of P6,000 for Trazo’s temporary liberty.
