BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man in a drug buy-bust operation in Remedios Ville Subdivision, Barangay Gargato, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental on April 8.
George Farparan, 47, was arrested around 11:50 a.m. for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
Four heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu valued at P2,000 and one black sling bag containing P2,220 in total were confiscated from the suspect.
Police Major Jake Barila led the operation with the Hinigaran police.
Farparan was held at the Hinigaran police station./PN
