CAPIZ – A man was shot at around 9:25 p.m. on Nov. 13 in Barangay Najus-an, Mambusao, Capiz.
Identified only as Lanong Ubag, the man was a resident of the barangay. He was at a waiting shed when he was shot by an unidentified assailant, resulting in severe injuries that led to his death.
Police Captain Alladen Talaban, Mambusao police chief, said the victim was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.
Witnesses reported seeing a motorcycle speeding away from the scene immediately after the shooting.
The police are conducting an investigation to determine the motive for the shooting and to identify those responsible./PN
