BACOLOD City – A man believed to have been electrocuted was found dead in a creek in Purok Newton, Barangay Taloc, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified him as 30-year-old resident Jovanne Quinlat, a police report showed.
Quinlat was discovered lifeless by his brother around 6:30 p.m. on June 4, the report added.
According to police investigation, the victim left their house around 9 p.m. on Monday to go fishing using his improvised electric device but failed to come home.
Officers of the Bago City police station ruled out foul play in the incident./PN
