SAN JOSE, Antique – An unidentified man with a gunshot wound to the head was found dead buried on a vacant lot in Barangay Funda-Dalipe in this capital town yesterday morning.
According to some residents living nearby, they heard sounds from vehicles and burst of gun fire at around 2:30 a.m.
The residents reported the incident to the village officials and San Jose police station.
Responding police officers found a freshly dug soil. They tried to dig the spot and they discovered a dead person who was tied in his feet and with a gunshot wound in the head.
As this was being written, local authorities have yet to identity the victim nor any suspect in the crime. Investigation is still ongoing./PN
