BACOLOD City – A man on probation for a drug offense was shot to death in Charito Heights Subdivision, Barangay Granada here.
The 37-year-old Harold John Suarez of Hermelinda Subdivision, Barangay Mansilingan, served jail time for illegal drugs but was later released and placed on probation, according to his live-in partner.
Suarez was having a drink and sitting on his motorcycle outside a sari-sari store on Friday night when four men approached and shot him three times, witnesses told police.
Police Station 5 commander Police Captain Francis Depasucat identified the suspects as Matt John Espoli, Rodzel Gonzales Espoli, Mark Torres, and an alias, “Kalbo”.
Police believed the shooting may be related to past grudges.
