ILOILO City – Hacked in Barangay Zamora-Milleza, City Proper, a 35-year-old man was hospitalized.
Bryan Hautea of Barangay Ticud, La Paz district sustained wounds on his head and face.
The attack happened around 11 p.m. on Jan. 9.
The suspect was identified as Celo Dumago, 42, from Barangay Zamora-Milleza.
The two had a misunderstanding during a drinking spree with friends, police said.
A bolo was used on Hautea.
Security guard Arlie Amorate subdued the suspect and seized two bolos from him.
Dumago and the weapons were turned over to the city police./PN
