BACOLOD City – A man with multiple hack wounds was found dead by his son in Barangay Asia, Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12.
The fatality was identified as 49-year-old Mistocles Juliane, a resident of the aforementioned barangay.
His son Jaime narrated to the police that on Nov. 11 at around 7:30 a.m., he and his father went to their farm, but he was later asked to look for a buyer of their rice husk (upa).
According to the Hinoba-an police, Juliane’s body has severe cut wounds below the right ear and right neck, severe cut wounds on the left face, and the throat was about to detach.
The following day, Nov. 12, Jaime wondered why his father had failed to return home. He then searched and later discover his father’s dead body.
