AKLAN – A pedestrian was run over by a motorcycle and plowed by a pickup truck in Barangay Bulwang, Numancia, Aklan.
The 25-year-old Sheldon Apolinario was a resident of the area.
He was walking home around 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, when hit by a motorcycle driven by Rogien Reyes, 46, a resident of Barangay Badio, Numancia.
Apolinario was thrown unconscious when another vehicle passed by and ran over him. He got a fractured left hand and leg.
Closed-circuit television camera footage showed a gray Toyota Hilux going to Kalibo did not stop to help the victim.
Local authorities are coordinating with the Land Transportation Office to determine the driver of the pickup. (With a report from RMN DYKR Kalibo)/PN
