ILOILO City – Charged with domestic violence, a man was nabbed in Barangay Yapak, Malay, Aklan.
Democrito Peliciano, a resident of the village, was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 7 a.m. on Tuesday, a police report showed.
Officers of the Malay police station staged the arrest.
Peliciano faces a charge for violation of Republic Act 9262, or the Anti-Violence against Women and their Children Act of 2004.
He was detained in the Malay police station custodial facility.
The court recommended a P72,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
