ILOILO City – A theft suspect was arrested on Friday at a mall in Barangay San Rafael, Mandurriao district.
Archel Marañon, 35, was accused of stealing chocolates around 3 p.m., a police report showed.
The suspect, a resident of Barangay Dawis, Zarraga, Iloilo, was caught by a security guard.
He was about to get out of the mall without paying the cashier, the guard told the police.
The suspect reportedly placed the chocolate worth P1,181.50 inside a blue plastic bag.
