BACOLOD City – A man ended up dead after his neighbor stabbed him on the last day of 2018.
The 41-year-old Jolito Sidlao of Barangay Dangcalan, Ilog, Negros Occidental sustained multiple stab wounds on the body, a police report showed.
He rushed to the Lorenzo D. Zayco District Hospital in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental where he was pronounced “dead on arrival.”
Police identified the suspect as the 39-year-old Arnel Mahinay.
It was not immediately clear what triggered the stabbing incident that happened around 10 a.m. on Dec. 31.
Mahinay fled after the incident. Police were still hunting him as of this writing./PN
