BACOLOD City – Police were still trying to identify who shot and killed a resident of Barangay Poblacion, Ayungon, Negros Oriental at a public market, and why.
An unidentified armed person with a covered face fired at the 46-year-old Richil Tenebroso on the back around 12:25 p.m. on Wednesday, police investigation showed.
Tenebroso just arrived and was parking his motorcycle at the time.
The victim was already lifeless when the responding officers arrived.
Police said the suspect used a .45-caliber pistol.
Seven empty shells and a slug of a .45-caliber gun were found at the crime scene./PN
