ILOILO City – A 38-year-old man allegedly killed his elder brother in Barangay San Francisco Sur, Tibiao, Antique.
Milberto Vecino had a heated argument with Edwin, 50, a police report showed.
The altercation led Milberto hitting his brother on the head using a piece of wood around 5:10 p.m. on June 17, it added. It was, however, not immediately established what triggered the argument.
Edwin was rushed to the Culasi District Hospital but he succumbed to injuries on the head.
Responding police officers were able to arrest Milberto. He was detained in lockup cell of the Tibiao police station, facing charges./PN
