ILOILO City – Police arrested a man and his minor companion in Barangay Sta. Felomina, Arevalo district.
They were Dannyl Jhonn Zapanzan and a certain “Toto,” both residents of the village.
They were nabbed around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday after mauling Jovannie Jullieza and Rose Animas, a police report showed.
Jullieza and Animas sustained bruises on the face and body, the report added.
It was not immediately clear what led to the mauling.
The suspects, meanwhile, were detained in the lockup cell of the Arevalo police station./PN
