BACOLOD City – Three residents, including two male minors, were wounded in a shooting in Barangay Matab-ang, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
The minors’ identities were being withheld by the Talisay City police station but identified Jose Argie Alipalo, 58, as one of the victims. They were rushed to a health facility for multiple gunshot wounds.
Tagged suspect was 33-year-old Jay Nepumoceno of Antique province.
According to the police, the victims and the suspect had an argument while having a drinking spree around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The suspect got a homemade shotgun (sulpak) and attacked the three, police added.
Nepumoceno was eventually arrested. He yielded the sulpak and four live ammunitions of a 12-gauge shotgun.
The suspect was detained at the Talisay City police station, facing charges./PN
