BACOLOD City – He was listed as the No. 1 most wanted person in the Pontevedra municipal police station.
The 23-year-old Jessie Vicera Gevero was arrested in Barangay Canroma, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
Gevero was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant for frustrated murder around 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, the report added.
The Regional Trial Court Branch 63 in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental issued the warrant against him on June 1.
Gevero was detained in the custodial facility of the municipal police station.
The court recommended a bail bond worth P200,000 for his temporary liberty./PN
