ILOILO – Yesterday, a truck driver was arrested in Barangay Poblacion Ilaya, Sara, Iloilo for alleged illegal quarrying.
Ernesto Sayco, 46, of Barangay Aldeguer, Sara was taken to the municipal police station.
Cops flagged him down at 12:30 p.m. to check if he had a quarry permit for the sand and gravel he was transporting.
He failed to present any.
