ANTIQUE – A 41-year-old man fell in a buy-bust operation carried out by personnel of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit of Antique, San Jose de Buenavista Municipal Police Station, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency of Antique in Barangay 3, San Jose de Buenavista.
Joven “Esboy” Cahilig of the said barangay was collared at around 2:57 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26, after handing over a plastic sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer in exchange for P1,500.
Some 10 more heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing the illegal substance were recovered.
The suspect is now facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
