BACOLOD City – Charged with homicide, a man was caught in his residence in Barangay 2, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified the man as the 29-year-old John Philip Mercaral.
Officers from the Victorias City police station caught Mercaral on Tuesday on the strength of an arrest warrant that Judge Ana Celeste Bernad of the Regional Trial Court Branch 69 in Silay City issued on June 19.
Mercaral was detained at the Victorias City police station lockup facility.
The court recommended a P120,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
