ILOILO City – Police caught a man engaging in illegal gambling in Barangay Natividad, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo.
The 55-year-old Henry Bascolinao, a resident of the village, was arrested around 4:20 p.m. on May 21, a police report showed.
Bascolinao’s apprehension came after police officers chanced upon him and his two other companions playing the illegal cards game tong-its. Bascolinao’s cohorts however managed to flee.
The suspect was taken to the municipal police station. Charges will be filed against him./PN
